I love stories. If you have read any of my other blogs, I love reading the stories of others who have gone before me. My faith actually demands testimonies as a part of our Christian walk, a crucial part of our journey I think is often neglected. Cultures survived before printed history, and when every written word passes I believe we will still tell stories to each other. I have recently fallen in love with personal histories. My hope through this blog to be able tell and retain some of the stories of lives that have framed me. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, pastors, professors, strangers I believe testimonies of our faith can offer an uplift unlike any other theology. I hope to use this medium as a way to share these with others, and offer them to my daughter in a more concrete way than my mind's memory will allow.
